Watermelon Mint Juice Recipe

Watermelon signals the arrival of summer and juices are galore in our house. This is the best thirst quencher! Whenever I have some watermelon in this scorching weather I always say a thank you to God that  watermelons are available during the peak summer months.  I would not want to have this fruit at any other time than the 3 peak summer months. How well God thinks, plans and orchestrates amazes me beyond words!

Paneer Bhurji Recipe

I am always eager to make paneer recipes. I love paneer and  can eat anything made with paneer. This dish is very simple to prepare and goes well with roti, paratha or even dosa.

Paneer is Indian Cottage cheese and this can also be called as scrambled cottage cheese!
I have made a very simple bhurji, you can do any combination you want. This was so tasty that I had it just like that with a spoon!

Marunthu Kuzhambu Recipe

Marunthu Kuzhambu is a popular South Indian curry. Literally translated it means medicinal curry. It gets this name from all the ingredients that goes into making this kuzhambu. Each ingredient has some medicinal property and having this at least once every month is good for the body, it helps to clear the system.

This is one of my dad's favorite and my mom makes it often. It's very easy to make and tastes awesome too. This was one of my grandmother's classic dishes loved by many! Do try it out.

Marie Biscuit Chocolate Balls Recipe | Easy No Bake Recipes

I love making 'chocolate something' for my little nieces and nephews and when I had a request from one of my niece, I went hunting for a good chocolate recipe. The criteria was that, she wanted something that she can munch on as she studied for her board exams. She was craving chocolate and I was only too pleased to make something for her!

I finally decided on 2 things that I would make for her. One is this Marie biscuit balls and the other was a fudge bar. I will post the fudge bar later. This chocolate balls were very easy to prepare and a kids delight! This can be made for parties too.

Vazhakkai Chips Recipe / Raw Banana Chips Recipe

As a child I remember eating these chips and yam chips and potato chips made by my mom, I remember taking them to school in my lunch box and even to college and I always remember these chips will always disappear first from my box, everybody loved it! Even at home when my mum made it, my brother and me, would never wait to have it with rice, it always got over instantly.

Vazhakkai Chips

These chips are so crispy just like the store bought ones. These can be had as tea time snacks. Kids would simply love munching on this. I had my mum do the scraping while I took pictures. There's no way, I could scrape and click pictures and she was not comfortable clicking pictures.

This was a huge hit with my kids. It was a treat to even see my one year old nibbling on these chips. I tell you, no one can eat just one!!!

Eggless Moist Chocolate Cake Recipe (egg free and dairy free)

I normally bake with eggs and recently I have been forced to bake eggless for others and loving it! I recently posted another eggless chocolate cake which was a huge hit. This time, I had to bake an eggless cake for my driver's daughter's birthday and I chose another recipe, this was a huge hit too! Just look at it!! It makes me want to dig in to it, all over again!
Egg free Dairy free Chocolate Cake

This is such a soft and moist cake and it literally melts in the mouth! I frosted the cake with ganache and whipped cream and every bite was absolutely heavenly. The guests who ate the cake, were absolutely delighted!

This is a very simple cake to make. The other eggless chocolate cake that I posted uses yogurt, but this one does not use yogurt. It's an egg free and dairy free cake! I love such cakes!! I adapted this recipe from here
