Jelly Boats

I don't make jellies at home as kids are not too fond of it but someone gave me 2 packs of jellies and I did not want to waste it and I made these cute little boats. I have seen these pictures in pinterest and wanted to try them out. Sure enough, seeing the little boats my kids were pretty excited to try them! You can make these for birthday parties and I'm sure it will be a huge hit among the kids!

Chocolate Basil Seed Pudding

These tiny little sweet basil seeds are a powerhouse of nutrient dense food that you can find in the supermarket. They help in weight loss, reduce body heat, relieves constipation, controls blood sugar levels, treats acidity, improves skin condition and many more!

There are many different ways to include sabja seeds in our diet, the simplest being adding a tbsp of these seeds to a litre of water and then drinking this water. But if you don't like drinking water with sabja seeds then you make different desserts with it. This pudding is an easy way to enjoy a dessert and have these healthy seeds.

Brownie Ice Cream

Two of my favorite simple desserts are brownies and ice cream! Put that together and you have a match made in heaven! Off late, I have been making ice creams with cakes, I made a chocolate cake ice cream and a plum cake ice cream. Both tasted absolutely delicious so this time I made with some brownies and this too was a total hit!
It is common practice to serve brownies with a scoop of vanilla ice cream, I know the taste of that and I knew this combination will work very well too! Do try it out, you will not be disappointed!

Chocolate Banana Mousse

Very often I make a banana mousse whenever we have 1 or 2 extremely ripe bananas that no one wants to eat. Sometimes I add some melted chocolate or cocoa powder to it to make this chocolate banana mousse. This makes for an easy and simple dessert for the family.

Easy Banana Mousse

Here's an easy and simple dessert you can make for your family that is healthy and tasty. Whenever I have left over bananas I usually bake cakes with it but if I don't feel like baking a cake or if I have very less bananas then I make this mousse or this banana chocolate mousse. You can serve this as a dessert or an after school snack.
I made this mousse out of nedram pazham that no one in the family wanted to eat. You will have to adjust the sugar according to the ripeness of the banana.

Jackfruit Mousse

Jackfruit is one of my most favorite fruits! This is my first recipe of jackfruit as every time we buy some, we always end up eating it up. This time, my jackfruit was not so sweet or tasty so I made this mousse and a milkshake with it.

Eggless Jackfruit Mousse

My children never eat jackfruit and my mother in law always used to tell me to make this simple eggless mousse for them. This is easy to make, like this easy eggless mango mousse, and it tastes great!

Fruit Cake Trifle

Trifle is a dessert made with layers of cake, custard, jelly and cream. You can make a trifle with vanilla sponge cake or a chocolate cake. I had some left over Christmas Fruit Cake so I made this plum cake trifle. A Christmas fruit cake already has a lot of flavor in it and all the nuts and fruits along with the custard, jelly and cream made it delicious!

Chocolate Banana Ice Cream

Ice Creams are always associated with summers, it always perks up a hot humid day! I made this ice cream for a pot luck with our prayer group and we all loved it! I use the same ice cream base recipe and I have never felt the need to change it as it always works out so well and everyone loves it.

Chocolate Banana Ice Cream

I was planning on making just a simple chocolate ice cream as I also had to make these lovely white chocolate mousse but then I decided to add some of the ripe bananas I had. The flavor of the banana is subtle and not over powering making the ice cream delicious!

White Chocolate Mousse

I don't have a lot of white chocolate recipes here since I don't have a preference in my family for white chocolate except me! Everybody prefers dark chocolate and I always end up making a dark chocolate mousse. But when we had a potluck among our prayer group, in our house recently, I made this white chocolate mousse and it went quite well! I thought many won't like the taste of white chocolate but surprisingly all the cups got over quickly!

Kulfi Recipe

I love kulfi! More than ice creams, I enjoy making and eating these kulfis. Kulfi is an Indian ice cream made with full fat milk and it is much more creamier and denser than ice creams. Making the traditional kulfi is a long drawn process of cooking and stirring the milk for very long time. There are many versions of instant kulfi recipes on the net but nothing beats a kulfi made the traditional way.

Kulfi

Kulfi's are mostly set in matkas or sticks and there are many different flavors of kulfi. This recipe that I have shared is the basic kulfi recipe and can be modified as your preference. I have made many kulfi recipes but this is my most favorite recipe ever! Whenever I make this kulfi, I always set it in matkas than setting in sticks as it takes more than 2 days for this kulfi to set in sticks whereas in matkas, it's nice and creamy and perfect to enjoy!

I think the reason it takes 48 hours for this kulfi to set is the amount of khova used. You can try reducing the khova but I simply love the flavor and texture of the kulfi with all that yummy khova in it!!

You can call this a pista kulfi too because of the amount of pistachios I have used. You can add 2 drops of green color to make it a Pista Kulfi.

White Chocolate Fudge

Growing up, I used to love the milky bar chocolate and now, I still love white chocolate. My family does not like the taste of white chocolate so I almost never make any desserts with white chocolate. They like this dark chocolate fudge which I make often.

White Chocolate Fudge

I made this white chocolate fudge to finish up some of the left over white chocolate from making this white chocolate mango mousse cake. Ans as always I simply loved this fudge!
I added some dark chocolate chips to the fudge, you can add some chopped walnuts and it will taste really good!

Chocolate Banana Dessert | Banana Ice Cream

I fell for this recipe when I saw it on facebook, it looked so easy and simple and divine! And there's always over ripe bananas in my house so I thought to try this 'ice cream'!! The video called it an ice cream and I thought this was a nice way to use up ripe bananas and make an easy ice cream!
Well, I think, it is a real stretch to call this an ice cream! This tastes nothing like an ice cream. I would just call it a banana dessert!!
