Eggless Dalgona Cake | Dalgona Chocolate Cake | Easy Lockdown Chocolate Cake | Dalgona Coffee Cake - In this recipe, we will see how to make an easy and super tasty eggless dalgona chocolate cake. This cake uses very minimal ingredients but still it is extremely moist and tasty. And the dalgona coffee mixture takes it to a whole new level!
Ingredients
- Water - 1/2 cup
- Coffee powder - 1/8th tsp
- Powdered sugar - 1/2 cup
- Oil - 1/4 cup
- Vanilla - 1/2 tsp
- Vinegar - 1 tbsp
- Maida - 3/4 th cup
- Cocoa powder - 2 tbsp
- Baking soda - 1/2 tsp
- Salt - 1/4 tsp
For the Dalgona Cream
- Coffee - 1 tbsp
- Suagr - 4 tbsp
- Hot water - 2 tbsp

Method
Grease and line a 5 inch cake tin and pre heat the oven to 180 degrees C.
1. Add the coffee to the water and heat it in the microwave for 20 seconds.
2. In a bowl take the sugar and oil. Add vanilla and mix it lightly.
3. Then add the water and coffee mixture.
4. Then add 1 tbsp of vinegar and mix it again.
5. Place a sieve over the bowl and add the maida, cocoa powder, baking soda and salt.
6. Sieve this into the bowl and mix till the batter is smooth.
7. Pour this into the prepared cake tin. Bake in the pre heated oven for 15-20 mins.
8. Put a skewer or tooth pick in the cake if it comes out clean then it is done otherwise bake for a little longer.
9. While the cake in cooling, make the dalgona coffee cream.
For the Dalgona cream
Notes
1. The coffee mixture should be hot when adding it in.
2. Instead of vinegar you can add lemon juice too.
