Method
1. Clean the banana flowers. I have already posted a recipe on how to clean the banana flowers, do check that post.
2. Soak the channa dal for 1 hour before starting to make the vada.
3. As you clean the banana flowers, drop them in a bowl of water or buttermilk otherwise it will become black in color.
4. Add the soaked channa dal and garlic in a mixee jar and grind it into a coarse paste without adding extra water.
5. Transfer the channa dal into a large bowl, also add the banana flowers, onions, mint leaves, coriander leaves, pepper powder and chopped ginger.
6. Finally add 1 tbsp of soaked whole channa dal (without grinding) this will make the vada crunchy.
9. Mix everything well together and take small amounts and shape it into vada.
10. Fry in hot oil till it turns golden brown.

Notes
1. You can add green chillies instead of pepper powder, I did not add green chillies as I made this for small children.
2. You can add the ginger in the mixee along with the garlic and grind it instead of chopping it up.

Bible blessing - Keep your voice from weeping and your eyes from tears, for the reward for your work will come. Jeremiah 31:16
