Peerkangai Kootu Recipe / Ridge Gourd Kootu Recipe

This is a vegetable that I have mostly ignored my whole life! But I have lately come to find out that this is a very healthy vegetable with loads of health benefits. Do google it if your interested.
It is also easy to make and tastes great with rice. Today we made it n our house and I'm sharing it with you all.
You can make this kootu with kadalai paruppu or moong dal. My mum makes it with kadalai paruppu but I prefer to use moong dal.
