Best Chocolate Cupcake Recipe | Easy Chocolate Cupcakes



Ingredients
  • APF / Maida - 1.5 cups
  • Sugar - 1 cup
  • Cocoa powder - 1/3 cup
  • Egg - 1
  • Oil - 1/3 cup
  • Baking soda - 1 tsp
  • Warm water - 1 cup
  • Coffee powder - 1 tsp
  • Salt - 1/2 tsp
  • Vanilla - 1 tsp
  • White vinegar - 1 tbsp

For Frosting
  • Whipping cream - 1/2 cup 
  • Vanilla - 1/2 tsp 
  • Icing Sugar - 1 tbsp 
  • Cocoa powder - 1 tbsp




Method
1. Pre heat the oven to 180 degrees C for 20 mins. Line a muffin tray with paper liners.
2. Take the water and add the coffee powder, mix it well and heat it up lightly.
3. In a bowl, add the flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking soda and salt. Mix well.
4. In another bowl, take the egg and add the vanilla to it.
5. Then add the warm coffee and oil and whisk well.
6. Add vinegar and mix well.
7. Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix gently.
8. Do not over mix the batter.
9. Fill the cupcake liners with the batter. Fill about 1/2 to 2/3rd of the liners. Do not over fill the liners
10. Tap the muffin pan on the counter to remove air bubbles.
11. Bake in the pre heated oven for 18-20 mins or until a skewer comes out clean.
12. Remove from the oven and let it cool completely.

For the frosting
1. Take the whipping cream in a bowl, add the vanilla, icing sugar and cocoa powder.
2. Beat till stiff peaks are formed.
3. Transfer the cream into piping bag, fitted with a nozzle and decorate the cupcakes.
