How to make Moringa powder at home - In this recipe, we will see how to
make moringa or drumstick leaves powder easily at home. Moringa is a super food and consuming it regularly makes it very healthy for the body. This is a very simple way to make your own moringa powder instead of buying from the store.
Ingredients
- Moringa leaves
- Cumin powder - 1 tsp
- Salt - 1/2 tsp

1. Remove the leaves from the stem. Small stems are ok, remove the larger stems. Remove the yellow leaves.
2. Wash the leaves and drain the water. Try to remove as much water as possible.
3. Dry these leaves in the shade for a few days.
4. After 1 day, transfer the leaves to a glass plate and microwave for 1 min.
5. Then transfer these dried out leaves to a dry mixie jar, add the cumin powder and salt and blend till it's a fine powder.
Notes
1. Microwave makes these leaves completely dry, removing all moisture thereby helping you to store these leaves longer.
2. If you dont want to use the microwave, then shade dry the leaves for 5-7 days.
3. We have this powder with the rice so I add the cumin powder and salt, if you won't eat it with rice, then you need not add the salt and cumin powder.
4. You can add this powder to smoothies or oats or salads. Then skip the cumin powder and salt.
5. Store it in a clean dry jar. You need not refrigerate. Use a clean spoon. If you have prepared the powder without moisture then it will not get spoilt even for 3 months.
