Jam Mousse | Mixed Fruit Jam Mousse | Eggless Jam Mousse Recipe - In this post, we will see how to make an easy and simply mixed fruit jam mousse. 



Ingredients 
  • Mixed Fruit Jam - 100 gms + 4 tbsp 
  • Water - 1/2 to 3/4 cup + 1/4 cup 
  • Corn flour - 2 tbsp 
  • Whipping cream - 1 cup

Method
1. Take 100 gms jam in a saucepan and add 1/2 cup of water.
2. In another bowl, take 2 tbsp cornflour and add 1/4 cup of water. Mix without lumps.
3. Place the saucepan with jam on the stove and keep whisking till it becomes smooth and homogeneous. 
4. Now add the cornflour mixture to the jam and keep whisking.
5. After about 4-5 mins, the jam mixture will start to thicken.
6. Take the whipping cream in another saucepan and beat till soft peaks. Then add 4 tbsp jam and beat again to stiff peaks. Transfer this to piping bag and refrigerate.
7. Pipe the mousse into dessert bowls and spread evenly with spoon.
8. Now take the jam glaze and add about 2 tsp over the mousse and spread evenly.
9. Refrigerate for 1 hour and then serve.

Notes
1. If the jam glaze has thickened, add 1/4 cup water and mix well or you can add 3/4 cup water to begin with instead of 1/2 cup.
2. If you want, you can add some color to the whipped cream. I did not add.
