Kambu Ladoo | கம்பு லட்டு | Bajra Ladoo | Healthy No Sugar No jaggery Kambu Ladoo | Pearl Millet Ladoo - In this post, we will see how to make a healthy no sugar no jaggery Kambu/Bajra Ladoo. You don't have to add any extra sugar or jaggery to make this ladoo, the dates and grapes are sweet enough.


Ingredients
  • Kambu Maavu | Bajra Flour - 1 cup
  • Dates - 1 cup
  • Dry Grapes - 1 cup
  • Peanuts - 1 cup

Method
1. Dry roast the bajra flour in a saucepan for 6-8 mins in medium flame. Then let it cool.
2. In a dry mixee jar, add the dates and the grapes and blend well.
3. Then add roasted deskinned peanuts, blend well. The peanuts may not get crushed fully but that's ok.
4. It's not very easy to blend all this in our normal mixee. Pause in between, scrape the mixture and blend patiently.
5. After the peanuts are coarsely blended, add the roasted bajra flour and blend again till everything is well combined.
6. Pause in between and scrape the sides and blend.
7. Transfer to a plate and mix well with your hands.
8. Take small amounts of the mixture and make small ladoos.

Storage - Store in air tight box in the fridge. Take the amount of ladoo you need each day and keep it out for 10 mins and it will come to room temperature.

Notes
1. Use soft variety of dates, only then it will blend well.
2. Use roasted peanuts for more crispy texture of the nuts.
3. Instead of peanuts, you can use any other nuts too.
4. You can add some chopped figs too.
