சத்துமாவு மில்க் ஷேக் | Sathumaavu Milkshake | Healthy Sathumavu Milkshake for Kids - In this post, we will see how to make a healthy sathumavu milkshake for kids. This is a filling milkshake and you can give this in the morning for breakfast or you can even give this in the evening when they come back from school.



Ingredients
  • Sathumaavu powder - 2 tbsp
  • Water - 1/2 cup (or as required)
  • Milk - 2 cups
  • Jaggery - 1 or 2 tbsp
  • Banana - 3 small
  • Crushed Nuts - to decorate

Method
1. Take 2 tbsp of sathumavu powder in a saucepan, add 1/2 cup water and mix without lumps.
2. Keep this on the stove and cook for 3-5 mins till it thickens.
3. To a mixie jar, add 3 small bananas or 1 medium sized banana.
4. Add the cooled sathumavu kanji. Then add jaggery powder.
5. Add 1/2 cup boiled and cooled milk and blend till smooth. Then add the remaining milk and blend well and serve.

Notes
1. You can add some nuts to this and blend along with the bananas.
2. Adjust jaggery powder according to your preference.
3. If you want a thick milkshake, add only 1 cup of milk. My kids don't like thick milkshake so I have used 2 cups of milk.
