This is the first time I tried this combination and I should say the taste was beyond my expectation. Paneer is such a versatile ingredient that you can add it to any dish and it tastes awesome! We loved it! This is again one of my anni's fabulous cooking!!

Ingredients
- Prawns - 1/4 kg (cleaned)
- Paneer - 200gms (cubed)
- Onion - 2 large (finely chopped)
- Ginger garlic paste - 1 tsp
- Tomato - 2 medium (chopped)
- Coriander powder 2 tsp
- Garam masala powder - 1 tsp
- Cumin powder - 1/2 tsp
- Fennel powder - 1 tsp
- Coriander leaves - 2 tbsp chopped
To Temper
Method
1. In a non stick pan add oil and let it heat up. Add the cinnamon, cloves and bay leaf.
2. Add the chopped onions. Saute until the onions until the onions become translucent.
3. Add the ginger garlic paste. Saute until the raw smell of ginger and garlic leaves.
4. Add the chopped tomatoes. Mix well and close the lid and allow it to cook until the tomatoes are soft and well cooked. If needed add very little water (I did not add).
5. Add the masalas, the coriander powder and garam masala powder. Mix well.
6. Add the prawns and mix with the masala. Let this cook for a couple of minutes.
7. Add the paneer and mix well. Add the cumin powder. Mix well. Close the lid and allow the prawns to cook well for about 5 minutes. Add little water if needed.
8. Once the prawns are well cooked, it will curl up into small balls, then add the fennel powder. Mix well.
9. Add the chopped coriander leaves and switch off.
Goes well with roti, parathas, dosa and even rice.

1. Add some red chillie powder or chopped green chillies for more spice.
