Paneer Popcorns | How to make Crispy Paneer Popcorns | Paneer Snack Recipes | Evening Indian Snacks - In this recipe, we will see how to make crispy and tasty evening snacks with paneer. These popcorns taste so good, kids will definitely love it!



Ingredients
  • Paneer - 200 gms
  • Maida - 1/4 cup
  • Cornflour - 1/4 cup
  • Ginger garlic paste - 1/2 tsp
  • Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Red chilli powder - 1 tsp
  • Garam masala - 1/2 tsp
  • Salt - to taste
  • Mixed herbs - 1/2 tsp
  • Lemon juice - 1/2 tsp
  • Corn flakes - 1/2 cup
  • Bread crumbs - 1/2 cup
  • Oil - to fry

Method
1. Take the paneer and chop them into cubes. Set aside.
2. Take the maida, cornflour, ginger garlic paste, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, garam masala,, salt, mixed herbs and lemon juice in a bowl.
3. Add little water and make into a paste.
4. There are two ways to make this popcorn. In the first method, take the cornflakes and crush it well. Or instead of cornflakes, you can use bread crumbs.
5. Take the paneer pieces and coat it in the maida mixture and then roll it in either the bread crumbs or corn flakes, which ever you have and set aside.
6. Once you coat all the pieces, keep it in freezer for 10 mins before frying.
7. Heat the oil to fry, once oil is hot, drop the coated paneer in the hot oil and fry till it's golden brown and then remove and enjoy!

Notes
1. If you find it difficult to crush the cornflakes, use a mixee to lightly crush it.
2. Using cornflakes is more tasty than the bread crumbs.
