Bread Gulab Jamun | Quick Gulab Jamun Recipe | Instant Gulab Jamun Recipe - In this recipe, we will see how to make a quick gulab jamun using bread. These jamuns are so tasty, luscious and delicious and it can be made quickly. Gulab jamun's are also a kids favorite and a festival specialty! 


Ingredients 
  • Bread - 10 slices 
  • Cardamon - 3 
  • Milk - as required (about 4-5 tbsp) 
  • Sugar - 1 cup 
  • Water - 1 cup

Method
1. Take 1 cup of water and add 1 cup of sugar to it. Boil this mixture.
2. As it's boiling, add cardamom, break it open and add it in. Let the water boil for 5 mins.
3. After 5 mins, switch off and let it cool down slightly.
4. Then take the bread slices and cut the corners. Add it in a mixee jar and powder the bread slices.
5. Transfer the powdered bread into a bowl, add milk and form a dough. Add milk little by little.
6. Take a little bit of the dough and roll it into a smooth small ball without any cracks.
7. Heat some oil to fry the gulab jamun, slowly drop the rolled out dough into the oil and cook till it's golden brown.
8. Keep stirring and rotating the balls so that it browns evenly.
9. Remove the gulab jamuns and drop it into the sugar syrup.
10. The sugar syrup should be slightly warm, if it's cooled down completley, then warm it up slightly before dropping the gulab jamuns in.
11. Let the gulab jamun soak in the sugar syrup for 4-5 hours or overnight, then serve 

Notes
1. If you don't want your gulab jamun to be very sweet then you can add 1.5 cups of water.
2. Make sure the oil is not too hot, then the outside will cook faster before the inside can cook.
3. Let the gulab jamuns soak overnight for best taste.
