Spiral Potato without Machine | Stick Potato | Potato Snacks | Tornado
Potato - In this recipe, we will see how to make the
famous beach side snack - spiral potato on a stick. This spiral potato
is made without a machine and kids will love it! During the lockdown
period, when we were not able to go to the beach, I made this at home to
enjoy with your family!
Ingredients
- Potatoes - 4
- Maida - 1/4 cup
- Corn flour - 2 tbsp
- Red chilli powder - 1 tsp
- Chat masala - 1/4 tsp
- Salt - to taste
- Water
- Oil - to deep fry

Method
1. Take a small bowl and add the maida, corn flour, red chilli powder, chat masala and salt to taste.
2. Add little water and mix to form a paste. This paste should be slightly runny.
3. Take the potatoes and clean them well, put a thick skewer through the center of the potatoes.
4. Take a sharp knife and slowly cut through the corners of the potatoes without cutting it through, as a spiral.
5. Once you cut the potatoes, spread it out nicely through the skewer.
6. Then spread the paste that we prepared earlier on these spiral potatoes. Spread it with a brush.
7. Heat some oil and fry these potatoes till it's nice and brown.
8. You can add some mayonnaise on the potatoes before serving.

Notes
1. You can change the masala as you prefer.
