Eggless Vanilla Cake without Curd | How to make Eggless Vanilla Cake - This is a no fail eggless vanilla cake. It's easy to make and comes out soft and moist too.
Ingredients
- Warm milk - 1/2 cup
- Vinegar - 1/2 tsp
- Sugar - 1 cup
- Oil - 1/4 cup
- Flour - 1 cup
- Baking powder - 3/4 tsp
- Baking soda - 1/4 tsp
- Salt - pinch
- Vanilla - 1 tsp
Frosting
- Whipping cream - 3/4th cup
- Vanilla - 1 tsp
- Icing sugar/powdered sugar - 1 tbsp
Sugar syrup
- Sugar - 1/4 cup
- Water - 1/2 cup

Method
1. Pre heat the oven to 180 degrees C. Grease and line a 5 or 6 inch tin.
2. Take warm milk in a bowl, add vinegar to it and mix well. Set aside for 5 mins. This will make the buttermilk for the cake.
3. Then add the sugar and oil to the milk and whisk well. Add vanilla and mix.
4. Place a sieve over the bowl and add the plain flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Sieve it into the bowl.
5. Combine the wet and the dry ingredients. Transfer the batter into the prepared tin. Tap the tin on the counter to remove any air bubbles.
6. Bake in the pre heated oven for 40-50 mins or until a skewer comes out clean.
7. Let the cake cool completely before cutting it into 2 halves.
Frosting.
1. Take the cold whipping cream in a bowl. Add the icing sugar and vanilla and beat till stiff peaks. Leave in the refrigerator.
2. Heat the sugar and water in microwave and mix well. Let it cool completely.
3. Place one half of the cake on the cake board, soak with sugar syrup and spread some whipped cream and spread evenly.
4. Place the next layer and cake and soak it too. Add little cream and crumb coat the cake. Leave it in the fridge for 20 mins.
5. Then add more whipped cream and frost the cake completely.
