Method
1. Take the milk in a heavy bottomed pan and keep stirring till the milk reduces.
2. Keep the flame on high and keep stirring so the milk doesn't burn.
3. Keep stirring as the milk reduces slowly.
4. After about 30 to 45 mins, the milk will start thickening and it starts to separate from the pan. At this point, stir without break as the milk will easily stick to the pan and burn.
5. When the milk becomes very less and starts separating from the pan and when it thickens nicely, switch off the flame.
6. Transfer this reduced milk to a plate and spread it evenly.
7. Keep this plate under the sun to dry. If you keep it in sun, it will dry it one day, if you keep it under the fan, it will take longer to dry.
8. As the milk solids are drying, toss it around so that the base also gets dried quickly.
9. Wait for the milk solids to dry out completely, it should crumble in your hands.
10. Once it's completely dry, take a dry mixie jar, add the dried milk solids and blend till it's nicely powdered.
11. Then add the sugar and blend again. Milk powder is ready!
12. You either use this milk powder as it is or you can sieve it to get a much finer milk powder.
13. Wait for the milk powder to cool down (it might be warm from blending in the mixer) and then store it in a clear dry jar.

Notes
1. Keep the flame on high and keep stirring as it takes a really long time for the milk to reduce. If you keep the flame on medium or low, it will take much longer.
