Whole Wheat No Yeast Tawa Pizza | Pizza made in Tawa & Oven | Atta Pizza in Dosa Tawa | Wheat Pizza - In this recipe, we will see how to make a whole wheat pizza without yeast. I'm going to show you how to make this pizza on a dosa tawa and in an oven. 


Ingredients 
  • Whole wheat flour (aata) - 1 cup (130 gms) 
  • Baking powder - 1/2 tsp 
  • Baking soda - 1/2 tsp 
  • Salt - 1/2 tsp 
  • Onion powder - 1/4 tsp 
  • Garlic powder - 1/4 tsp 
  • Mixed herbs - 1/2 tsp 
  • Curd - 1/3 cup 
  • Olive oil - 1 tbsp 
  • Water - as required (about 3-4 tbsp) 
  • Pizza sauce - 1.5 tbsp 
  • Capsicum - 2 tbsp 
  • Onion - 2 tbsp 
  • Tomato - 2 tbsp 
  • Corn - 2 tbsp 
  • Mozarella cheese - 1/4 cup 
  • Olives - 10 
  • Oil - 2 tsp

Method
1. Take the aata in a bowl or large plate and add the baking powder, baking soda and salt. Mix well.
2. Then add the curd and add water little by little and start making the dough.
3. As you mix, add the onion powder, garlic powder and mixed herbs and continue to make the dough.
4. The dough will be sticky, don't add too much dry flour while kneading the dough. If needed add little olive oil to knead the dough.
5. After the dough is kneaded to a soft and smooth consistency, spread some oil on the dough and cover it and let it rest for 30 mins.
6. In the meantime, cut the vegetables that we need to add on the pizza.
7. After 30 mins, take the dough and knead lightly. Cut into 2 halves. I made one pizza on the tawa and the other pizza in the oven.
8. Roll out one dough ball into a round shape and place it on a hot tawa. Cook both sides of the pizza base for 2 mins. 
9. When both sides are cooked, spread pizza sauce on one side of the base.
10. Then add the veggies on top. Add cheese on top of the veggies. 
11. Cover and cook for 7-8 mins, the cheese should be melted and the veggies cooked.
12. Remove from flame and add little oregano on top of the pizza and serve.
13. With the other dough, I made the pizza in the oven.
14. Pre heat the oven for 15 mins.
15. Spread the dough into a round and place it on an oven safe plate.
16. Poke holes over the base and then spread the pizza sauce and layer with veggies and cheese.
17. Bake for 8-10 mins. Remove from the oven and sprinkle oregano and enjoy!

Notes
1. Make sure the curd is not sour.
2. Adding onion powder, garlic powder to the dough makes it super tasty. If you don't have, you can leave it out.
3. Before adding the toppings, make sure you cook both sides of the pizza base as this is whole wheat flour, it will take time to cook.
4. Make sure you cut the vegetables small to make sure it cooks faster.
