How to make Mirror Glaze - In this recipe, we will see how to make a
simple chocolate mirror glaze. This mirror glaze recipe does not use
gelatin or any gel, it's an easy and simple recipe for home use.
Usually professional bakers use gelatin, gels or corn syrup to make this mirror glaze, this recipe that I'm sharing is a very simple recipe that doesn't use corn syrup or gelatin.
Ingredients
- Ganache - 1/2 cup
- Fresh cream - 6 tbsp
- Refined oil - 1 tsp
Method
1. Take the ganache in a small microwave safe bowl and add the fresh cream.
2. First add 3 tbsp of cream, mix it in and then add more if needed. (When we heat this mixture, it will get more runny, so add accordingly)
3. Microwave for 10-15 seconds. Let it cool down slightly.
4. Pour over chilled cake and refrigerate the cake.
Notes
1. The oil gives a glossy finish to the glaze.
2. Adjust the ganache and the cream according to the size of your cake.
3. I used amul fresh cream, you can use any cream.
