Mutton Soup Recipe | Lamb Bone Soup - In this recipe, we will see how to make a tasty and healthy mutton bone soup. This soup is perfect for winters and it's a wonderful soup for kids. 

  • Mutton bones - 300 gms 
  • Small onions - 12 
  • Tomato - 2 
  • Garlic - 2 
  • Coriander seeds - 1 tbsp 
  • Cumin seeds - 1 tsp 
  • Fennel seeds - 1 tsp 
  • Pepper corns - 1 tsp 
  • Cinnamon - 1 
  • Cardamom - 2 
  • Bay leaf - 2 
  • Salt - to taste 
  • Coriander leaves - handful 
  • Water - 2 to 3 cups

1. Wash and clean the bones with turmeric powder.
2. Crush the onion and garlic and set aside.
3. Crush the coriander seeds, fennel seeds, cumin seeds and pepper corns.
4. In a pressure cooker, add cinnamon, cardamom and bay leaf.
5. Add 1 tbsp of the crushed masala and the crushed onion.
6. Add the mutton bones, salt and tomatoes.
7. Then add 3 cups of water. Close the cooker and cook for 5-6 whistles.
8. Once you open the cooker, add chopped coriander leaves.
9. Before serving, you can add freshly ground pepper powder.

1. I added only 1 tbsp of the crushed masala as I made it for small kids, if making for adults, you can add 2-3 tbsp of the masala.
2. Instead of crushing the masala with hand, you can crush the onion and the masala in mixee too.
