Eggless No Alcohol No Soak Christmas Fruit Cake | Easy Christmas Fruit - In this video, we will see how to make a quick and easy but yet a tasty and rich Christmas Fruit Cake. This cake is easy to make and loaded with dry fruits and nuts. 



Ingredients 
  • Walnuts - 1/2 cup 
  • Almonds - 1/2 cup 
  • Tutti Frutti - 1/2 cup 
  • Golden raisins - 1/4 cup 
  • Black seedless grapes - 1/4 cup 
  • Dates - 10 
  • Maida(APF) - 1 cup 
  • Baking powder - 1 tsp 
  • Baking soda - 1 tsp 
  • Cinnamon powder - 1/2 tsp 
  • Clove powder - 1/2 tsp 
  • Nutmeg powder - a pinch 
  • Salt - 1/4 tsp 
  • Vanilla - 1 tsp 
  • Melted butter - 1/2 cup (113 gms) 
  • Milk - 1 cup 
  • Brown sugar - 3/4 cup

Method
1. Chop the fruits and nuts into smaller pieces.
2. Pre heat the oven to 180 degrees C for 15 mins. Grease and line a 6 inches cake tin.
3. Take melted butter in a bowl, add the brown sugar and milk and mix well till the sugar dissolves.
4. Place a sieve over a bowl and add the maida, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon powder, clove powder, nutmeg powder and salt. Mix well and sieve into the bowl.
5. Add the chopped nuts and dry fruits into the the flour mixture and mix well so that the nuts and fruits don't sink to the bottom of the cake.
6. Now add the milk mixture into the flour and mix till it is well combined.
7. Transfer the batter into the prepared cake tin and run a tooth pick along the batter to remove air bubbles.
8. Bake in the pre heated oven for 60 mins at 160 degrees C with the fan on.
9. Once the cake is baked, remove it from the oven. Wait for the cake to cool completely and then remove from the tin.

Notes
1. Wait for 1 or 2 days before cutting into the cake, then the flavors will be well infused. Wrap the cake and leave it in the fridge and then you can cut after 2 days.
