I love Bounty Bars! If you're like me and you too love them but you don't want to eat them everyday, you can try out these healthier version of bounty bars. To be honest, it didn't taste exactly taste like the original bounty bars but it was more than enough to satisfy my sweet tooth.
Ingredients
- Ripe Bananas - 200 gms (about 2 medium)
- Dessicated coconut - 110 gms (1 1/4 cup)
- Dark chocolate 150 gms (this depends on your preference - check notes)
Method
1. Take the ripe bananas in a bowl and mash well.
2. Pre heat the oven to 180 degrees C for 10 mins.
3. Add the dessicated coconut to the bananas.
4. Grease and line a 7 inch baking tin.
5. Transfer the mixture into the tin and spread evenly.
6. Bake in the pre heated oven for 25 mins.
7. Melt some good quality chocolate in the microwave. Let it cool slightly.
8. Remove the cake tin from the oven and let cool.
9. Pour the melted chocolate over the baked banana mixture and spread evenly.
10. Leave it in the refrigerator to set.
11. Then cut into bars or squares and enjoy!
Notes
1. You can use as much melted chocolate as you want. You can also add as less as 50 gms of chocolate and spread it well.
