Prawn 65 Recipe

I love prawns, we always make the prawn masala that I posted earlier but on this particular day we wanted to try some other recipe with prawns and decided to make some prawn 65. Prawns coated in many masalas and deep fried...tasted absolutely yum! This is a tasty appetizer and got over very quickly!

Ingredients
  • Prawns - 1/4 kg  (cleaned)
  • Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Garam masala powder - 1 tsp
  • Cumin powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Pepper powder - 1/4 tsp
  • Ginger garlic paste - 1/2 tbsp
  • Corn flour - 1.5 tsp
  • Lime juice - 1 tbsp
  • Oil - to deep fry
  • Salt - to taste

Method
1. Wash and clean the prawns. Marinate the prawns with turmeric powder, garam masala powder, cumin powder, pepper powder, ginger garlic paste, corn flour, salt and lime juice.
2. Let it marinate for 15 minutes atleast.

3. Heat oil in kadai, drop prawns in hot oil. Drop slowly and gently in batches.
4. Fry in medium flame until the prawns roll up and turn golden brown.

5. Drain and remove onto a tissue paper.
6. Once the excess oil is drained, serve hot.

Notes
1. The masalas you add is your choice. Add more or add less as per your choice.
2. An egg can also be added while marinating, it acts as a binder.

Until next time,
