Murunkai Keerai Pachadi | Moringa Raita | Drumstick Leaves Raita | முருங்கை கீரை பச்சடி - In this post, we will see how to make a quick and tasty moringa raita.


Ingredients
  • Curd - 1 cup
  • Moringa leaves - 1 cup
  • Onion - 1
  • Cumin seeds - 1 tsp
  • Oil - 2 tsp
  • Salt

Method
1. Clean and wash the moringa leaves.
2. In a small saucepan, heat oil. Add cumin seeds, then add chopped onion. Saute till onions are golden brown.
3. Then add the cleaned moringa leaves. Cook for 2 mins.
4. When the moringa leaves shrinks, switch off the flame and let it cool down.
5. Take the curd in a bowl and whisk well. Add the cooled moringa leaves, add salt and mix well.
6. Moringa raita is ready!

Notes
1. You can make this without the addition of onions but adding onions gives a nice crunch to the raita.
