Story Book Cake | Photo Print Cake | Birthday Cake for Girls

My daughter loves to read story books, she's obsessed with story books. So for her birthday I wanted to do a story book cake but since I don't use fondant, I decided to get a photo print of her two most all time favorite books.

Ingredients needed

• Vanilla sheet cake - 1
• Photo prints
• Whipped cream
• Sugar syrup

Method

1. Bake the sheet cake and cut off the top layer.

2. Measure the photo print and cut the cake accordingly.

3. Soak the cake with sugar syrup.

4. Frost the cake with whipped cream.

5. Cut the corners of the photoprint and place it on the frosted cake.

6. Run a fork along the edges of the cake to resemble pages of a book.

4. Soak the cake with sugar syrup.

5. Frost the entire cake.

6. Cut the corners of the photoprint and place it on the frosted cake.

7. Run a fork along the edges of the cake to resemble pages of a book.
