Salted Cucumber Lassi

I loved the sweet cucumber lassi that I had posted earlier! But unfortunately my husband does not prefer the sweet version. Actually he does not like anything sweet so tried this salted version and he loved it! Mission accomplished!! This is an awesome drink to quench your thirst!

Salted Cucumber Lassi

Preparation time 5 mins | Cooking time 0 | Serves 1

  • Thick yogurt - 3/4 cup
  • Cucumber - 1/2 cup
  • Coriander leaves - 2 tbsp, chopped
  • Ginger - 1/2 tsp, chopped
  • Salt - to taste
  • Green chilli - 1/2 or 1, to taste

Salted Cucumber Lassi

1. Peel and chop the cucumber and add it to the blender along with coriander leaves, ginger and green chilli. Blend well till it's smooth.

2. Add the thick yogurt and salt and blend again.
3. Pour into a glass and serve.

Salted Cucumber Lassi

1. You can add little water to this too. About 1/4 cup water if you like it thin.
2. Adding chilli is upto you. Try with 1/2 a chilli first, if you like more spice then add the other half.
3. Use homemade, slightly sour curd. I don't like my lassi made with store bought curd.
