Aloo Suji Pakode | Suji Pakore | Crispy Evening Snacks | Sooji Pakora -
In this recipe, we will see how to make a quick evening snacks made with
suji and potatoes. This aloo suji pakode is simple to make and so crispy
and tasty, kids will love it!
Ingredients
- Suji/Semolina - 1 cup
- Curd - 3/4 cup
- Salt - to taste
- Potatoes - 3 small
- Onion - 1
- Coriander leaves - 1 handful
- Cumin powder - 2 tsp
- Pepper powder - 2 tsp (or chopped green chillies )
- Coriander powder - 1/4 tsp
- Baking soda - 1/4 tsp
- Oil - to deep fry

Method
1. Take 1 cup if sooji and add the curd to it. Add the salt and mix everything together. Cover and set aside for 10 mins.
2. Take the boiled potatoes, peel it and smash it till it's smooth.
3. After 10 mins, open the sooji bowl, it will be thick and soaked well.
4. Add the mashed potatoes, onion, coriander leaves. Mix well.
5. Add the cumin powder, pepper powder, coriander powder and mix well.
6. Finally add baking soda and mix in.
7. Heat oil in a kadai to fry.
8. Once the oil is hot, take small amount of this mixture and drop it in hot oil. Fry till golden brown and remove it to a tissue paper.
Notes
1. Instead of this pakoda, you can roll the mixture into patties and make cutlet too.
