Crispy Dosa Recipe | How to make Hotel Style Crispy Dosa | Dosa Batter Recipe - In this post, we will see how to make super crispy and tasty dosa at home. If you want restaurant styled crispy dosa then there are a few tricks to be followed which will give you awesome dosa every single time!



Ingredients 
  • Idli rice - 2 cups 
  • Urad dal - 3/4 cup 
  • Poha - 1 cup 
  • Channa Dal - 1/4 cup 
  • Methi - 1 tbsp

Method
1. Take 2 cups of idli rice, add the urad dal, poha, channa dal and methi. Wash well.
2. Add enough water and soak for 4-6 hours.
3. After 6 hours, add half of the mixture into the mixee, add little water and grind into a smooth batter.
4. Then add the remaining rice and urad dal, add require salt and little water and grind to a smooth batter.
5. Mix the batter well with your hands and let it ferment for 8 hours.
6. After 8 hours, when the batter has fermented, mix the batter and start making crispy dosas. 
7. Add ghee while making dosa and also use iron dosa tawa to get super crispy dosa.

Notes
1. I always soak my rice and dal together and grind in mixee. You can soak separately if you want.
2. Add poha and channa dal gives a super crispy dosa, restaurant style.
3. Use iron tawa instead of non stick ones for crispy dosa.
4. Also drizzle some oil or preferably ghee while making dosa.
