Oreo Cream Cake | Oreo Cake | Oreo Biscuit Cake | Cookies and Cream Cake - In this recipe, we will see how to make soft, moist and tasty oreo cream cake. If your kids love oreo biscuits or any other cream biscuits, then you can make this awesome cake for them! 



Ingredients 
  • Maida - 1/2 cup 
  • Buttermilk - 1/4 cup (milk + vinegar) 
  • Oil - 2 tbsp 
  • Water - 2 tbsp 
  • Coffee powder - 1/4 tsp 
  • Cocoa powder - 2 tbsp 
  • Egg - 1 
  • Baking soda - 1/4 tsp 
  • Sugar - 1/2 cup 
  • Vanilla - 1/2 tsp 
  • Oreo biscuits - 5 

Frosting
  • Whipping cream - 1 cup 
  • Oreo biscuits - 7 
  • Vanilla - 1/2 tsp 
  • Water - 1/4 cup 
  • Sugar - 2 tbsp

Sugar syrup
  • Water - 1/4 cup
  • Sugar - 2 tbsp

Method
For the Cake
1. Take the milk and add vinegar to it, mix well and set aside.This will be the buttermilk for this cake.
2. Then take the hot water and add the coffee powder to it, mix well and set aside.
3. Take a dry mixie jar and powder 5 oreo biscuits.
4. Pre heat the oven to 180 degrees C for 15-20 mins.
5. Grease and line a 5 or 6 inches cake tin. 
6. Take the egg in a bowl, add vanilla and beat till light and fluffy.
7. Then add the sugar and beat along with the egg.
8. Then add the buttermilk and oil and beat again.
9. Place a sieve over the bowl and add maida, cocoa powder baking soda and pinch of salt. Sieve this 
into the bowl. 
10. Combine the dry and wet ingredients, don't overmix the batter. 
11. Then add the coffee mixture and mix again. Add the crushed oreos and mix again.
12. Transfer the batter into the prepared cake tin. Tap the tin on the counter to remove air bubbles. 
13. Bake in the pre heated oven for 18-20 mins or until a skewer comes out clean.
14. Remove the cake from the oven and let it cool completely and then remove from the oven.

For the frosting
1. Cut the cake into 2 equal half.
2. Add 7 oreo biscuits to a dry mixee jar and blend till you get powdered biscuits.
3. Then take the whipping cream, add vanilla and icing sugar and beat till stiff peaks.
4. Add 1/4 cup of the powdered oreo biscuits and mix it in with spatula.
5. Place the 1st layer of cake on the cake board.
5. Soak this layer with sugar syrup.
6. Add some whipped cream on the cake and spread evenly.
7. Add some of the powdered oreo biscuits above the whipped cream.
8. Place the second layer of cake and soak this layer too.
9. Add a bit more whipped cream and do a crumb coat and refrigerate the cake for 30 mins.
10. After 30 mins, bring the cake from the refrigerator and add more whipped cream and cover the remaining cake.
11. With a flower nozzle, pipe some designs on the cake as you wish.
12. Place some oreos and sprinkle the powdered oreos also on the cake.


Notes
2. You can do similar cakes with any other cream biscuit too.
