This is a simple and easy laddu that can be made quickly. It is very nutritious and it serves as a wonderful snack. For those looking to loose some weight, this laddu serves as a great snack in between meals. This is also a good option for diabetic patients.
I have used honey as a binding agent instead of ghee and honey is also a replacement for sugar. Instead of honey, you can use jaggery (dissolved in water) or use ghee and sugar itself.

Ingredients
- Thinai flour - 1 cup
- Honey - 1/4 cup
- Cardamom powder - 1/4 tsp
- Roasted nuts - 2 tbsp, chopped
Here are some other millet recipes
Method
Notes
1. If you don't have thinai flour, dry roast thinai for 3-4 minutes and then grind it in a blender to a smooth powder and then use in the recipe.
2. Chop the roast and microwave for 30 seconds to make it crisp and tasty.
3. Honey is more than enough to bind the laddu and it also acts as a sweetner. But if you're making it for kids then you can use ghee as a binding agent.
4. You can use any nuts like almonds, cashew or walnuts.
