I like 'instant' anything! Simply because I get to have it immediately and also if it is instant, it should be easy and quick to make! My all time favorite 'instant anything' is the instant microwave brownie, get's done in 3 minutes. This banana bread is like that, gets done quickly and tastes good too, enough for a sudden craving!
The recipe I followed, called it 'Banana Bread in a Mug' but please don't ever try this in a mug! It is really frustrating to try to whisk an egg and mash a banana in a mug and if you prepare it in another dish and then transfer to a mug - well, it makes no sense! 'Instant' should involve quick work and not cleaning up multiple vessels! And besides a mug is not sufficient, the batter will overflow. So make this in any suitable microwave safe bowl.

Deletecan you please tell me the difference between baking powder and baking soda?
ReplyDeleteAnd also by sugar you meant icing sugar? :)
I used normal sugar and for the difference between baking soda and baking powder, I think it's best if you google it. I don't want to write a long response when it's so easily available online :)
